Excellent

I was skeptical because of the low price, as there are very expensive contraptions out there on the razor market but this works great and looks great! The only trick is to let the weight of the razor do the job and not push down like you do on plastic ones. I’ve used one for almost a year now and just bought a second one for husband. So far he loves it too.

Make the switch!

Wonderful razor! Works great. My only hangup is that the blade comes a little loose after a while- just check that it's tight before you use it to avoid any unnecessary wiggle. Way sharper than the plastic disposables I was using! Love the butterfly- so easy and fun to change the blade.

Pretty good

Doesn't cut as close as I would like it to, but it gets the job done. Worth the price and switching.

A difficult, but worthy switch

The quality of construction and ease of assembly is a big bonus for this product. I did not want to switch to a razor that made it challenging for me to switch out the blades, so the butterfly opening is great. You twist the base of the handle and the top opens up to a perfect spot to just drop in the blade, then twist the base the opposite direction to secure the blade and you're ready to go. This is a great alternative to plastic razors and at a superior price point to other safety razors on the market. A few things of note:
1) The razor is weightier and slipperier than your typical run of the mill plastic razor.
2) Expect a learning curve. I primarily use this for my legs and have nicked myself at least once every time I've shaved since I switched despite being a fairly cautious shaver. This makes me more anxious to shave as I don't feel I can just hop in the shower and do a quick shave like I did in the past. (This is the primarily reason for 4 stars instead of 5).
3) The double edge razor can be a positive or a negative depending on your level of risk avoidance. It's obviously convenient from a shaving perspective, but for me it also means I have to be careful how and where I store it, whereas a traditional razor is only sharp on one side and can be placed facing downward.

Perfection

I am mad I didn't make the switch sooner! I am over the moon in love with this safety razor. It's very easy to figure out, gets a close shave, and leaves you so incredibly smooth. I have super sensitive skin and usually have issues with razor burn and after using this I have not had any issues with that whatsoever. Absolutely make the switch if you haven't already, it's a game changer.
