I’m a thong that can absorb period blood and I could do a triathlon. I’ve got the nice discreet feeling of a thong and the serious backup of being highly absorbent. Please play the Eye of The Tiger the first time you put me on. You’ll see. I’m made from our PeriodTech™ fabric - a super stretchy and comfy Nylon and Spandex knit that moves with you. As always, the gusset is made with organic cotton.

What is the Sporty Stretch Thong made of?

The main fabric is PeriodTech, an 85% nylon and 15% spandex knit. The gusset lining is 95% organic cotton and 5% spandex, backed by a 100% polyester absorbent layer and a 100% polyester PUL leak resistant layer.

Will I feel wet wearing the Sporty Stretch Thong?

It should not feel wet. The soft organic cotton lining sits over an absorbent layer that draws flow away from your skin, and a leak resistant layer stops it coming through. If it ever starts to feel damp, that is your sign to change.

Will the Sporty Stretch Thong stain or stay stained?

Not if you rinse it in cold water soon after wearing it. Cold water lifts blood out before it sets, while hot water can fix a stain in place. Skip bleach, which breaks down the fabric, and wash on a regular cycle.

How much does a period thong absorb?

The Sporty Stretch Thong absorbs up to 2 tampons worth of flow. It is best for light days, the start or end of your period, or as backup with a cup or tampon.

Yes, the Sporty Stretch Thong is made for sports and everyday activity. Its PeriodTech nylon and spandex fabric stretches and moves with you.

Is the Sporty Stretch Thong available as a multipack?

Yes, you can buy it as a single pair or as a 2-pack. It comes in many colors, including Black, Cranberry, Moss, Lilac, Coral, Surf, Mocha and Almond.

Yes, it is free of PFAS, has a certified organic cotton lining and meets Oeko-Tex Standard 100. It also ships in compostable packaging.
