Sanitize your cup before first use and before or after each period. You can do this by boiling your cup, wiping with 70% isopropyl alcohol, or using the Saalt Steamer or Saalt Compact Sanitizer.

During your period, you will want to clean your cup at least once every 12 hours. You can do so by rinsing the cup with cold water (to prevent staining) and then washing the cup with hot water and Saalt Wash or another wash that is mild, pH-balanced, fragrance-free, oil-free, and rinses clean with no residue.

How long can I wear the Saalt Cup?

You can wear the Saalt Cup for up to 12 hours, day and night. Empty and clean it at least every 12 hours.

Which Saalt Cup size should I choose?

The Saalt Cup comes in Regular and Small. Small usually suits lighter flows, a lower cervix or a smaller build, while Regular suits heavier flows or a higher cervix.

Is the Saalt Cup good for first time cup users?

Yes, its slightly firmer silicone pops open easily once inserted, which many beginners find helpful. If you have bladder sensitivity or cramping, the Saalt Soft Cup may be more comfortable.
