Our Rainforest bars capture the essence of the rainforest itself; blending ylang ylang with star anise and spicy tonka bean with musky vetiver. The purple tones in this bar reduce "brassiness" and preserve blonde and colored hair.

Cetyl Alcohol, Rapeseed Oil, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Vegetable Glycerin, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Acai Berry Oil, Aloe Extract, Lemon Essential Oil, Orange Essential Oil, Essential Oil + Fragrance Blend*, D-Panthenol, and Natural Coloring (Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Mica, and/or Clay).

*all pure fragrance is skin safe, phthalate free and paraben free.

Each bar comes packaged in a glassine paper bag and is sealed with a sugarcane paper label. The glassine paper bag and label are both 100% home compostable.

After shampooing, rub conditioner bar directly onto wet hair, focusing on the ends. If you have longer hair, you can pull it over one shoulder and "paint" the ends of your hair with the conditioner bar.

Dry, damaged, and blonde or color treated hair. Acai berry oil and aloe bring the moisture back, and the purple tones quietly deal with brassiness in blonde and colored hair.

What essential oils and key ingredients are in this bar, and how do they help?

Acai berry oil, aloe extract, lemon and orange essential oils, and D-panthenol. The acai is antioxidant rich and feeds damaged strands, the aloe soothes, the citrus adds shine, and the panthenol hydrates and strengthens. The purple toning is the bonus for blondes.

Is the Rainforest Conditioner Bar vegan and cruelty-free?

It is. Vegan, cruelty free, and made without palm oil or parabens, by hand, in the USA.

Is it safe for color-treated hair?

Better than safe, it actually pitches in. The purple tones fight brassiness and help keep blonde and colored hair bright.

What does it smell like?

Ylang ylang, star anise, spicy tonka bean and musky vetiver.

How long does one bar last?

75+ washes per bar. Keep it dry between uses and it'll be around a long while.

Should I use it with the matching Rainforest Shampoo Bar?

That's the intended combo. Rainforest shampoo, then the conditioner from mid lengths down. Both have the purple anti brass toning and both come plastic free in compostable packaging.

Great addition to the shampoo bars

I have been using the sandalwood shampoo bars for awhile and love them. Thrilled to now have the conditioner bars to go with them.

Great first impression

It doesn't seem like anything is going on your hair LOL so it's hard to judge how much is in your hair. But it does actually seem to work. My hair is nice and shiny but not weighed down at all. I used in combination with the shampoo bar. My hair feels great. This was my first use so we'll see if it causes buildup and I'll change my review if my opinion changes.
