Sodium Coco Sulfate, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Orange Essential Oil, Essential Oil + Fragrance Blend*, and Natural Coloring (Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Mica, and/or Clay)

*all pure fragrance is skin safe, phthalate free and paraben free.

Each bar comes packaged in a glassine paper bag and is sealed with a sugarcane paper label. The glassine paper bag and label are both 100% home compostable.

Wet hair. Gently rub the wet shampoo bar directly onto your hair from scalp to ends, OR rub the wet shampoo bar between your hands to create a lather and massage into hair. Rinse & follow with a conditioner bar!

What hair type is the Quartz Shampoo Bar best for?

Quartz is the easygoing one. Every hair type gets along with it. Orange essential oil and a pile of plant butters clean gently and leave hair soft.

What essential oils and key ingredients are in this bar, and how do they help?

Coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and olive oil, plus orange essential oil. The orange gently clarifies and adds a natural shine, the butters keep everything soft.

Is the Quartz Shampoo Bar vegan and cruelty-free?

100% vegan and cruelty free. We handmake every bar in the USA.

Is it safe for color-treated hair?

Totally fine on colored hair. No SLS means no color stripping.

What does it smell like?

Warm and creamy, like coconut and vanilla with a fresh squeeze of orange over the top.

How long does one bar last?

You'll get 75+ washes out of one 3oz bar. The only trick is keeping it dry between washes, so no standing water.

Is it free of SLS, palm oil, and parabens?

Yes, it's free of all three. We use sodium coco sulfate from coconut for the lather, and any fragrance is skin safe, phthalate free and paraben free.

Awesome shampoo bar.

I love this shampoo bar. The smell is luscious, it’s cleans really well and easily, helps detangles my girls’ hair and is silky and moisturizing even to the touch. It does great with long hair. The only downside I see to this bar is that due to its high moisture content, it seems to get used up faster than the other bars.

Perfectly Balanced Cleansing

These shampoo bars lather very nicely cleaning my hair but don't make it feel stripped. The bar form is perfect for travel as well. I now stock up on these when they go on sale.
