Cetyl Alcohol, Rapeseed Oil, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Vegetable Glycerin, Argan Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Essential Oil + Fragrance Blend*, D-Panthenol, and Natural Coloring (Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Mica, Cocoa, and/or Clay).

*all pure fragrance is skin safe, phthalate free and paraben free.

Each bar comes packaged in a glassine paper bag and is sealed with a sugarcane paper label. The glassine paper bag and label are both 100% home compostable.

After shampooing, rub conditioner bar directly onto wet hair, focusing on the ends. If you have longer hair, you can pull it over one shoulder and "paint" the ends of your hair with the conditioner bar.

 

What hair type is the Mahogany Conditioner Bar best for?

Oily hair and troubled scalps. The argan oil conditions without any grease, and the lavender and peppermint in the scent help keep an itchy scalp calm.

What essential oils and key ingredients are in this bar, and how do they help?

Argan oil and D-panthenol on top of the rapeseed oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil and shea butter base, with a sandalwood, lavender and peppermint scent. Argan smooths without weighing oily hair down, the panthenol hydrates and strengthens.

Is the Mahogany Conditioner Bar vegan and cruelty-free?

It is. No animal ingredients, no animal testing, no palm oil, no parabens. Made by hand in the USA.

Is it safe for color-treated hair?

Yes, colored hair is fine with it.

What does it smell like?

Earthy and clean. Warm sandalwood, calm lavender, and a bit of peppermint to wake you up.

How long does one bar last?

About 75 washes per bar, often more. Give it a dry spot to live between showers and it'll go the distance.

Should I use it with the matching Mahogany Shampoo Bar?

Definitely. Shampoo with Mahogany first, then glide this from mid lengths to ends. They share the same scent and both skip the plastic entirely, the packaging is home compostable.

Great addition to the shampoo bars

I have been using the sandalwood shampoo bars for awhile and love them. Thrilled to now have the conditioner bars to go with them.

Great first impression

It doesn't seem like anything is going on your hair LOL so it's hard to judge how much is in your hair. But it does actually seem to work. My hair is nice and shiny but not weighed down at all. I used in combination with the shampoo bar. My hair feels great. This was my first use so we'll see if it causes buildup and I'll change my review if my opinion changes.
