Shampoo: Sodium Coco Sulfate, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil.
Conditioner: Cetyl Alcohol, Rapeseed Oil, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Vegetable Glycerin, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil.
Each bar comes packaged in a glassine paper bag and is sealed with a sugarcane paper label. The glassine paper bag and label are both 100% home compostable.
Thoroughly wet hair. Rinse shampoo bar and rub directly onto your hair from scalp to ends, lathering in seconds. You can also lather up the bar in your hands and apply to hair. Rinse well and follow up with the matching conditioner bar!
After shampooing, rub conditioner bar directly onto wet hair, focusing on the ends. If you have longer hair, you can pull it over one shoulder and "paint" the ends of your hair with the conditioner bar.
I've tried quit a few different bars from various companies and these outperformed most of them! The bars I used was the Ruby shampoo and conditioner.
1. The shampoo bar has amazing lather and cleaned my scalp really well without stripping it.
2. The conditioner bar took some extra priming before applying it to the hair, but once it was on, it added great slip without being too heavy or weighed down.
3. Left a slight fragrance in my hair without being too strong or overpowering.
4. My hair did NOT feel like straw after washing it.
5. There was no waxy residue.
So yes, yes, yes! These bars check all the boxes and I highly recommend! 😊❤️
I have thick, long, wavy hair and used brands like Living Proof and Ouai for years, despite the hefty price tag, because they enabled me to go several days between washes. The shampoo lathers well and leaves my hair squeaky clean. The conditioner does a great job of restoring moisture to my ends. When dry, my hair feels soft and has a great shine. And I can go 3-4 days between washes.
