When you want to start fresh with your nails, you need nail polish remover.

Description

Unfortunately, many of the removers on the market are riddled with harmful chemicals like acetone, toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and triphenyl phosphate (TPHP). They may even contain carcinogens and petroleum ingredients. They may be present in many of these products, but they are not necessary. Karma Organic Nail Polish Removers actually nourish the nail bed with it’s oil based formula instead of drying them out, while doing so quickly, efficiently, and gently – The added bonus is the acetone-free nature of the product as well as it being free of toxic smelling odors.

Guaranteed to be Soy Based, Non Toxic, Non Carcinogenic, Free of any Petroleum Ingredients, Derived from Farm Crops (supporting American Farmers), Packaged in 100% Recyclable Glass Bottles, and 4 Fluid Ounces.

Ingredients

Propylene Carbonate, Soybean Oil Methyl Exter, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Rose Essential Oil.
*Please note that this will not work on gel or acrylic-treated nails.

Great alternative to drug store nail polish remover

Works really nicely and doesn’t have the awful smell of drug store nail polish remover. Will definitely buy again.

    Wow!

I was pleasantly surprised with how well this nail polish works! I had to rub slightly harder than I would normally to get all the polish off, but it was still very effective (I used it on OPI nail polish, so I do not know how it works with other types). I love the light rose smell, as well as the hydrating oil that stays on after you're done that doesn't feel greasy. While it's more expensive than regular nail polish, if you can afford it I would completely recommend it. My nails feel super smooth after using it, and not dry like they do after using acetone.

    Surprisingly Effective

If your intent is to remove traditional nail polish while eliminating plastic, this is a great alternative that does everything it's meant to do.

    Things of note:
    1) It was actually more effective that I thought it would be. Generally with more eco-conscious alternatives, I find myself sacrificing efficacy. That was not the case with this product.
    2) Because most traditional nail polish remover is primarily acetone based, the product evaporates very quickly and leaves nails with a very dry feeling. This product contains oil which, albeit hydrating for the hands and nails, leaves behind a very oily and filmy feeling that requires washing with soap rather than just rinsing.
    3) I think this goes without saying, but the product is expensive compared to the average nail polish remover on the market today and this is the reason for being 4 stars instead of 5. Most remover today can be found for about $1 for 6 oz or about 16 cents an ounce whereas this product is 300 cents an ounce. While it is a privilege that I'm able to have access to these products and feel I am doing my part, I think it won't be something I can recommend to most others for this reason.

    Good stuff!

I purchased this scent because of reading the reviews on the others and seeing there were no reviews on this one. I figured I'd try it so I could review it for you! So...for the smell; the smell is very, very light. If scents bother you, you'll appreciate this. It does take longer to remove polish than the not-so-earth-friendly-super toxic nail polish remover that we've grown up with. It's also a small bottle and costs quite a bit more than the stated above does. So don't go into this thinking it's the same as the toxic stuff we're so used to. I will personally continue to use this because it's healthier for the earth and for my body and I love the lack of smell. It also has oils in it so your nails don't feel as stripped; with that said, before applying polish, you will need to wash with soap to remove the oil. With the typical polish remover, I couldn't wait to wash my hands just because of the smell. With this, you could remove polish and just leave it there because it leaves your skin feeling nice, unless, like I said, you're re-applying polish. I hope my review helps and I hope you choose to give it a try!
