Sodium Coco Sulfate, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Acai Berry Oil, Aloe Extract, Lemon Essential Oil, Orange Essential Oil, Essential Oil + Fragrance Blend*, and Activated Charcoal, Natural Coloring (Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Mica, and/or Clay)

*all pure fragrance is skin safe, phthalate free and paraben free.

Each bar comes packaged in a glassine paper bag and is sealed with a sugarcane paper label. The glassine paper bag and label are both 100% home compostable.

Wet hair. Gently rub the wet shampoo bar directly onto your hair from scalp to ends, OR rub the wet shampoo bar between your hands to create a lather and massage into hair. Rinse & follow with a conditioner bar!

Dry, damaged, and blonde or color treated hair. Acai berry oil and aloe bring the moisture back, and the purple tones in the bar quietly tone down brassiness in blonde and colored hair.

What essential oils and key ingredients are in this bar, and how do they help?

Acai berry oil, aloe extract, and lemon and orange essential oils. Acai is loaded with antioxidants and really feeds damaged strands, aloe calms the scalp, and the citrus adds shine. The purple color pulls double duty as a brass fighter.

Is the Rainforest Shampoo Bar vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes, completely vegan and cruelty free. We hand pour every bar in the USA.

Is it safe for color-treated hair?

Better than safe, it actually helps. Those purple tones fight brassiness and keep blonde and colored hair bright between salon visits.

What does it smell like?

Ylang ylang with star anise, spicy tonka bean and musky vetiver. It really does smell like a rainforest.

How long does one bar last?

Each 3oz bar lasts 75+ washes. Just give it a dry spot to live between showers.

Is it free of SLS, palm oil, and parabens?

Yes. Free of SLS, palm oil and parabens. The cleanser is sodium coco sulfate from coconut, and the fragrance is skin safe, phthalate free and paraben free.

Awesome shampoo bar.

I love this shampoo bar. The smell is luscious, it’s cleans really well and easily, helps detangles my girls’ hair and is silky and moisturizing even to the touch. It does great with long hair. The only downside I see to this bar is that due to its high moisture content, it seems to get used up faster than the other bars.
