Dusk will naturally enrich your hair with essential vitamins and oils, leaving your hair soft and packed with nourishment. Lavender stimulates hair growth and promotes a calm environment.

Sodium Coco Sulfate, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Alkanet Root Extract, and Natural Coloring (Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Mica, and/or Clay).

Each bar comes packaged in a glassine paper bag and is sealed with a sugarcane paper label. The glassine paper bag and label are both 100% home compostable.

Wet hair. Gently rub the wet shampoo bar directly onto your hair from scalp to ends, OR rub the wet shampoo bar between your hands to create a lather and massage into hair. Rinse & follow with a conditioner bar!

All hair types, but it's a particular favorite of people with easily irritated scalps. Lavender calms things down and is known to encourage growth.

What essential oils and key ingredients are in this bar, and how do they help?

The scent is 100% pure lavender essential oil and nothing else, with alkanet root extract giving it its natural color. Lavender soothes the scalp and supports growth, and the butter base keeps hair soft.

Is the Dusk Shampoo Bar vegan and cruelty-free?

Always. Every bar we make is vegan and cruelty free, hand poured in the USA.

Is it safe for color-treated hair?

Yes. It cleans gently without sulfates, so your color stays put.

What does it smell like?

Pure lavender. Nothing else in there. Calming and quiet.

How long does one bar last?

Each 3oz bar lasts 75+ washes. Store it away from running water and let it dry properly between uses and it'll last months.

Is it free of SLS, palm oil, and parabens?

Yes, all three are out. The cleanser is sodium coco sulfate from coconut, and since the scent is pure lavender essential oil, there's no synthetic fragrance at all.

Awesome shampoo bar.

I love this shampoo bar. The smell is luscious, it’s cleans really well and easily, helps detangles my girls’ hair and is silky and moisturizing even to the touch. It does great with long hair. The only downside I see to this bar is that due to its high moisture content, it seems to get used up faster than the other bars.

These shampoo bars lather very nicely cleaning my hair but don't make it feel stripped. The bar form is perfect for travel as well. I now stock up on these when they go on sale.
