Sodium Coco Sulfate, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Essential Oil + Fragrance Blend*, and Natural Coloring (Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Mica, and/or Clay)

*all pure fragrance is skin safe, phthalate free and paraben free.

Each bar comes packaged in a glassine paper bag and is sealed with a sugarcane paper label. The glassine paper bag and label are both 100% home compostable.

Wet hair. Gently rub the wet shampoo bar directly onto your hair from scalp to ends, OR rub the wet shampoo bar between your hands to create a lather and massage into hair. Rinse & follow with a conditioner bar!

Indigo works on all hair types. It isn't chasing one particular problem, it just cleans well and feeds hair vitamins and oils. A really good everyday bar.

What essential oils and key ingredients are in this bar, and how do they help?

The same nourishing base of coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and olive oil, scented with sandalwood and bergamot plus a touch of lavender and vanilla. Bergamot has a reputation for keeping scalps balanced.

Is the Indigo Shampoo Bar vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. Vegan, cruelty free, and handmade in the USA, same as the rest of our range.

Is it safe for color-treated hair?

It is. The formula skips the harsh sulfates that normally fade color.

What does it smell like?

Warming sandalwood and fresh bergamot, softened with a little lavender and vanilla. Clean without being boring.

How long does one bar last?

75+ washes per 3oz bar if you treat it right. Let it dry between uses and keep it off the wet shower floor.

Is it free of SLS, palm oil, and parabens?

No SLS, no palm oil, no parabens. Sodium coco sulfate, made from coconut, does the cleaning, and the fragrance is skin safe and phthalate free.

Awesome shampoo bar.

I love this shampoo bar. The smell is luscious, it’s cleans really well and easily, helps detangles my girls’ hair and is silky and moisturizing even to the touch. It does great with long hair. The only downside I see to this bar is that due to its high moisture content, it seems to get used up faster than the other bars.

Perfectly Balanced Cleansing
