The labelling on the pencil is water-based paint, however the colored end-cap is made of Urethane Acrylate and nitrocellulose and is not biodegradable.
Start at the outer corner of the eye and apply short dashes as you draw a line along the lash line.
Use the angle of a brow brush or fingertip to smudge, if desired.
End of Life
The lid of the pencil can be industrially composted (please check with your local governmental systems), or disposed of in your household garbage along with the remnants of the pencil.
Brown has always been that second color from black. It is the one chosen if you want less definition, less darkness, and less of a chance to look like a raccoon.
Also, brown tends to bring out a more natural, neutral beauty in all of us. Its subtlety has a voice of its own.
Not that I am an expert on every single brand of eyeliner ever made and sold, but I can probably guarantee this: it will run or eventually smudge, and trying to clear that up or even work around it is impossible or takes time and more product on the face, which just makes you feel cakey.
However, with Elate, I have not idea why I have not given them more attention, because they needed it! The eyeliner goes on smoothly(and it is a big deal when you buy a new pencil eyeliner, because the end is normally dry and pointy and sooo hard to smudge down). Not only that, but I noticed that it last all day, and when it smudged a little, I wiped my fingers around my eyes, and it cleared away like no one else's business!
It may just be me, but I am encouraging all to try this eyeliner, test it, and see what I see! Best eyeliner I have bought, and I am happy I know that it is nothing harmful on my face!
