We use 100% recycled paper for our shipping labels and tape with a biodegradable adhesive. Our stuffing is from recycled newspaper/paper bags and our boxes are from 100% recycled material, too! Everything that comes to you in the mail is completely recyclable or compostable if you're into that good stuff!
*Our packing peanuts are starch based and are compostable/dissolve in water!
Shipping and Handling
Once your order has been placed, please allow for 1-3 business days as we hand pack each and every order with love for you and for our earth. We try to ship every order out the same or next day, but this depends on how many orders we have at any given time!
If your order is placed Friday-Sunday, please allow for 2-3 business days.
*Please note that the amount of time it takes to pack your order is in addition to the length of time it will take for your order to get to you, based on the shipping rate chosen (Priority, First Class, International, etc.)
We ship worldwide using the United States Postal Service. We chose this service because it drives the same route daily regardless if they're carrying our packages or not. This is the most environmentally friendly way to get our goodies to your doorstep. USPS calculates the rates based on size and weight of each package, we do not determine how much each package will cost to ship. Plastic Free Pursuit is not responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country or any delays resulting from customs. It is recommended that you check with your countries import laws to determine how much you will be paying for duties prior to placing your order.
Plastic Free Pursuit is not liable for packages lost/damaged during transit. Once the package leaves our possession, it is the responsibility of the postal service. If your package has been lost or damaged during transit, you must file a missing mail claim through your local postal service/USPS.
We are not familiar with how international addresses are formatted. Therefore, the package is shipped to the address exactly as you enter it at checkout. If you've made a mistake, contact us ASAP with your order number and correct address. If the package has already been sent, we are not able to change it and will wait for it to be returned in order to refund you the cost of your order minus shipping fees.
Lost or Damaged Mail
Plastic Free Pursuit is not liable for any packages that have been lost, damaged, or marked "Delivered" by The Postal Service. If your package hasn't arrived past the scheduled delivery date, please contact the Postal Service or your local post office to file a "missing mail search" or a claim. A claim can be filed for the package if it was shipped with Priority Mail. We will only replace the items if the claim is approved by the carrier.
If your package tracking shows as "delivered", we are not liable for your package. If you chose priority mail shipping, insurance up to $100 is included and a claim must be filed and approved by USPS to receive a replacement.
We urge you to purchase Priority Shipping with insurance if possible, so that a claim may be filed. This is especially important for international orders.
