Sodium Coco Sulfate, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Each bar comes packaged in a glassine paper bag and is sealed with a sugarcane paper label. The glassine paper bag and label are both 100% home compostable.

Thoroughly wet hair. Rinse shampoo bar and rub directly onto your hair from scalp to ends, lathering in seconds. You can also lather up the bar in your hands and apply to hair. Rinse well and follow up with the matching conditioner bar!

Every hair type, but it exists mainly for sensitive skin and anyone who reacts to fragrance. Five ingredients, no scent, no extras.

What essential oils and key ingredients are in this bar, and how do they help?

There are no essential oils or fragrance at all. Just sodium coco sulfate, coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and extra virgin olive oil. The butters moisturize while the coconut based cleanser washes gently. Reactive scalps tend to get on very well with it.

Is the Bare Shampoo Bar vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes, vegan and cruelty free, made by hand in the USA.

Is it safe for color-treated hair?

It is. No sulfates and no fragrance, about as gentle on color as a shampoo gets.

What does it smell like?

Nothing. Genuinely unscented, for people who just want the job done.

How long does one bar last?

75+ washes per 3oz bar. Keep it out of standing water and it'll last a long while.

Is it free of SLS, palm oil, and parabens?

Yes, and then some. No SLS, no palm oil, no parabens, and no fragrance of any kind. The cleaning comes from coconut derived sodium coco sulfate.
